Kiran-Duràe is an actor/designer/producer
based in Detroit, Michigan USA.

Kiran has been involved with the production industry in Metro-Detroit since 2014. With hands-on storytelling expertise in production management, and a background in acting, costuming, and direction, Kiran is a multi-faceted artist. Her current focus is on production, wardrobe and being an acting coach.

Through her educational studies at Oakland Community College, Aquinas College, and Meadowbrook Theater, Kiran has learned to bring unique and unmatched perspectives that give her an edge in versatility and efficiency. Her abilities have been exhibited in various productions and performances around Michigan, including some favourites: Gruesome Playground Injuries, All My Sons, Jekyll & Hyde, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (OCC); Silent Sky, The Shape of Things (Theatre Thirty 3); Jesus Christ Super Star, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Bare: A Pop Opera (DATC).

Kiran’s production, stitching, and design work has been demonstrated throughout Michigan and the United States, collaborating with several companies, including: Meadow Brook Theatre, The Detroit Actors’ Theatre Company, Circle Theatre, Theatre Thirty 3, Oakland Community College, The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, and Belvoir Terrace.

Kiran also produces and designs locally for film/commercial and events.
